I want this on my blog. Mostly because when I scrolled past this, it didn’t gross me out the way so many other “grotesque” things on my dash do. Instead, it reminded me of my sister. My sister was born in China with a cleft lip and palate. She’s had two(?) reconstructive surgeries so far, and she still has a few more left in her life time. I know it’s not the same in the least, but oral pediatric plastic surgery is really close to my heart because of that.
I support Operation Smile, or any other “doctors without boarders” type charity.
My sister is beautiful with her scar. This boy is beautiful with his, too.
